OUR STORY
As a master of calligraphy from Japan, Miki couldn't help but notice the lack of creativity in Kanji tattoos
she had seen during her visit to NYC.
She approached me, an NYC tattooer, to see what we can do.
Though we do not speak the same language verbally, we found that the lines of communication on an artistic level
are wide open! This connection soon blossomed into a trusting friendship and an artistic collaboration of calligraphy and tattooing. This enables our clients to receive unique and custom calligraphy ink done by a true master and executed by an experienced tattooer she trusts.

MIKI NAKASHIMA
Calligraphy Artist
A Japanese artist, born in Japan, 1988.
She creates contemporary artworks with a solid root in Japanese calligraphy.
Miki, along with her sister Chikako, is actively involved in art performances both in and outside Japan. The sisters performed in countries overseas such as France, Netherlands, Italy, Austria, and Korea.
They perform in unique sites such as on the river, in a rose garden, and in the nature with the sunset sky in their background.
Miki draws her inspiration from human interaction, architecture, and nature, and allows that to flow from her brush to her canvas.

LINDA WULKAN
Tattoo Artist
Linda Wulkan has two bachelor degrees in Fine arts/ Art history and in Illustration/Graphic design.
She returned to NYC in 2003 to further her carrier in Illustration and ended up in a tattoo apprenticeship she calls "a happy accident"
She has since been tattooing for the last 15 years.
"I love the idea of illustrating on the human body. There is so much potential to do amazing art work". It's all up to the client and the Artist.
